Certified, yes certified,, you would not think I came from a family of inventors, but I did, the story goes like this, my great, great grandpaw invented the two door barn, it was that shortage of them right hand bulls that started it all, I heard it was invented somewhere else, maybe up in Ohio by a amish fellow that lived up on the side of a small hill,, a hillside like we got,, all the way from harlan to the Va state line, just one big hill,, the idea, blueprint, all paper work in order, and then the idea was contested,,,,, still in liquidation,, as for as inventions goes, it was a brilliant idea, just imagine,, think about it I may be famous for a barn door,, well, at least my uncle will be,, I don't even think you would call it a radio show, more like real life,, from here on the east coast of Arkansas, leave a comment, subscribe, pass it on,

  • Sam, you know that corn grows best in the flat bottoms, so when we would go down and plow the corn, we had to put riser shoes on one side of the mules. That was until deddy was plowing the corn in the heat of July, '54, when it got so hot, all the corn popped on the stalks! When it covered the ground, the mules thought it was snow and laid down and froze to death!

The truth if I ever told it!

  • Sam-You know about the short legs on one side pigs in Arkansas? They are call them "Ridge Runners". Really! Thank you for the chat!

  • The real talent here is that you don't bust out laughing while recording this one! Hat's off to you again Sam

  • i got the mind movie, now picture that same farm on that same hill now turn loose a trailor load of fainting goats out on that same hill.. now thats is something to watch! take care....

  • Some people will call this a tall tale ,but ,since this has to do with cows

maybe we should call it a lop-sided tail ... don't know . We tend to believe ya though........................... some.

Keep these tall/lop-sided tails/tales coming, we are rootin' for ya !!

  • cool story i know you are yanking me but still cool

  • Could always shorten the long legs or provide maybe wooden extensions for the short side. Then you would need a hill with no slope which kind of gets tricky.........

    OR

Maybe the "Fall Down" Position could be a new Bovine "Position" for procreation? This all gets too hard without a Patent.........................
