@musicianfromasia no doubt adam lambert has a high range but on all aspects of singing brian mcknight wins hands down..if u put this to vote world wide i bet majority of the world would vote brian i have no doubt about that..!!

@Onlyrealmusic4life Brian goes up to F5 chest mix (which is also very very good). Okay you say that Brian has more soul, I respect that. But I only meant rangewise. And still, I like Adam better tonewise. And that is my personal taste. Anyway thanks for your reply ;)

@Onlyrealmusic4life I wish I could make a video showing both their vocal range note by note, but I'm not good at making videos. Here's a link to Brian's vocal range: watch?v=5IIbbjA_704 and here's adam's range: watch?v=4bWzUOt6l-I. I think it's obvious that adam has a bigger range. Adam goes up to Bb5 and it is not falsetto or headvoice. It is mixed voice (in this case it's chest mix).

@musicianfromasia I'm a pretty open guy. I'll give you a chance to defend your opinion. If you can reply with the tags to a video of a live performance of Adam Lambert one up-ing Brian, i will admit Adam has a bigger range. However, I wanna point out Brian has much more base and soul in his voice, which sacrifices range. Just make sure you aren't comparing to Lambert's falsetto to Brian's mid-voice is essentially what i'm saying

Digg the run at 4 min. 55 sec. in!!!! Look at how Kim Jo Han just shakes his head & laughs in utter disbelief & amazement that a human being can actually sit there & pull that run off. And live on stage no less. I challenge any fool 2 suggest that ANY vocalist MALE OR FEMALE in the history of this planet could come close 2 duplicating that run. There is NO male 2 even suggest (Honorable mention) the astounding Stevie Wonder). But NOT Mariah...NOT Whitney..NOT even Christina. Sorry. its OVER!
