Naples Trash Road

A dumping spot used by people in one of the suburbs of Naples to dump their trash due to insufficient trash removal in the Naples area. Locals dump their trash on the outskirts of the local towns, when possible, away from population in order to prevent rats, mice and associated disease. Do not make the mistake of judging Neapolitans as dirty,because that is emphatically not the case. I want to make it clear that the road I posted is commonplace in the Naples area specifically and not all of Italy. That being said, the Campania region, including Napoli, is still a beautiful place to visit and home to people that are among the friendliest and most passionate I have come across in my extensive travels. I lived in Naples from '95-'99 and sought out the opportunity to return here for my last 3 years in the Navy because of the positive impact this area had on me my first time here.

Naples and it's trash. Naples and it's mafia. No shortage of each and both are major problems.

Both were problems even during WWII when my novel takes place. And still no solution.
