BOULDER, COLORADO (May 1, 2009) The 2nd Annual Boulder Festival of the Arts returns to Boulder on July 25 26, 2009, to once again transform Twenty Ninth Street into a first-class outdoor art gallery complete with 150 artists and $15 million in artwork available for sale. Admission is free and open to the public.

Howard Alan Events, the country's largest producer of fine Art Festivals including the renowned Downtown Aspen Art Festival and the Beaver Creek Art Festival, is excited to return a juried art fair to the City of Boulder. The artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges, are hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America

Howard Alan Events stipulates that all artists are required to be on-site for the entire duration of the show. Artists and their professional white-tented display booths will line 29th Street, transforming the area into a first-class outdoor art gallery. The public can meet and talk with the artists personally, asking questions about their art and inspirations. The artistic media represented include paintings, sculptures, photos, glass, wood, jewelry, collage, and ceramics.
The 2nd Annual Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street, just a short drive from Denver, makes the arts accessible to a broad audience. Prices range from $25 hand-designed earrings to $20,000 metal sculptures. The event appeals to family and friends as a free and fun weekend activity, as well as serious art buyers looking to add to their collections. Howard Alan comments, In spite of todays economy people are still investing in art because art heals, art soothes; this is art that is handmade in America.

Directions: From Denver take U.S. 36 West to Boulder (becomes 28th Street); turn right on Canyon Boulevard; located just west of 28th Street between Arapahoe Avenue and Walnut Street.
