On the first Saturday in July, the Bedhampton Summer Show is held on Bidbury Mead, next to St Thomas' Church.
Come and enjoy a little of 2010's Show!
We begin our tour at St Thomas' Church, Old Bedhampton, with its Norman Arch and a long history - a church on this site is mentioned in the Domesday Book. At the summer show, the Church had a rolling 8 minute presentation which you can view here on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu5vmlIfSQ0
Then we walk past the two yew trees - each a thousand years old - to Bidbury Mead, where the Bedhampton Summer Show was opened by the Mayor of Havant, in the presence of Bedhampton's new Rector, Rev David Proud, and his wife Bobbie.
Come with us on a short tour of the Showground - a mix of stalls and arena events, and all in aid of the two Churches that make up the Parish of Bedhampton.
Bedhampton Parish has a website at http://www.bedhamptonparish.org.uk/
