yes it was brand new, and neither have i ever seen a knife come out of the box so loose ! so i guess ill go return it thanks for the advice

To the naysayers: Don't nix this boss little tac folder unless you've handled it. I bought this discreet carry during when I wear suits and the like for modest personal protection and basic utility usage. Cool knife...great traditional tanto grind too!

i just got this but the blad is completely loose too the point were you have to hold the blad with your hand to aline it so it goes back into the handle,what should i do ?

@665multitoolhiker Doesn't sound like you bought it new. Did you get it from EBay or something? No way should that be happening on a new knife. Check if the pivot screw can be tightened. If that doesn't fix it to satisfaction I would return it. That is not something I have heard of on these knives when brand new.
