I used to see these guys (with the original drummer, Billy, who was my friends boyfriend) starting when I was 14, at Mercer Arts Center. Later, I was going out with Jerry Nolan, when he was drumming for his band Kicks, and then Billy passed away, and Jerry told me he was invited to drum for The Dolls since our friend Billy was gone. And then you know the rest... The so-called "Dolls" you see now, in their pathetic "oldies" shows...I would never depress myself that way.

@phatravis98 Because they were the pioneers of the full-on 'glam band' movement, or at least the most notable of them, and were q big influence on bands like Poison who were as glam of a glam band that you could find in the hair-metal days. No different than current metal touring with someone like Sabbath.
