Incredible that there should still be such cold-pissing people on earth (alas, Paris is full of them, so I should not marvel).

@chocotier You are no Oracle of delphi either to tell me on what level me or anybody else criticizes! It's not a matter of TASTE! If you don't understand what I wrote here doesn't prove that you can patronize me.Come on, I don't just criticize somebody for being not to my taste or having a poor technique. E.g. Scholl isn't exactly to my taste but he's a great CT. Bjorling isn't to my taste but he's a great tenor! This ensemble can be remarkable but what they show here is pure POP! Admit it!

@serenaluce for the record, the primary purpose of microphones at this venue is for recording, so that we may listen to this performance. If the intent was to amplify the singing, we would se a wearable microphone, the kind of which PJ prefers. The microphones you see in the video are the kind and set up that is used to record sounds coming in from multiple sources and at a distance - something you use for recording, not amplification of a single voice among a large group.

@serenaluce if you don't like what this remarkable ensemble is creating, leave it. there's no need to criticize a work at such a nonprofessional level.just as I said, only because THIS isn't to YOUR taste doesn't mean it is badly done. you're not the oracle of delphi.
cheers
PS: do please criticize what you like, but do it in an appropriate and RESPECTFUL way.

oh please stop being so pig-headed and backward thinking and acting like you were the marcel reich-ranicki of baroque music. It is know -it -all puritans like you who make me just feeling extremely annoyed when I am just wanting to enjoy the fine music. do yourself a favour and widen your horizon a little, will you. tbc...

So much (auto) irony! Great!
Brilliant. Monteverdi and jazz? Two of the greatest things ever in one tasty, delicious stew! Bravi!
