The first original national news investigation to bring a tremendous attention to the racism in the small town of Tulia, Texas. The story attracted legal advocacy under the NAACP to exonerate one quarter of the adult black population from long prison sentences, accused of dealing drugs by an admitted white racist informant, even though hard evidence proved differently.

A feature film about Tulia stars Halle Berry. Originated and solely produced and narrated by two black women, Melissa Cornick, likely the only award winning producers to work at at three broadcast networks and Jami Floyd, now anchor of truTV's Best Defense.

  • @redbonegal I got an idea Why don't we send strong incorruptle americans down there and take over texas and get rid of their government. If that means the democrats must take over so be it. Maybe whites need to be a minority in that state for the safety of blacks and mexicans. I love texas but I don't trust the whites there and this video is a good example. Let's integrate the most racist parts of that state and make sure there is great equality like in Kansas.

  • I am from Texas. Unfortunately this is not an isolated case. Blacks in Texas live in fear that they could be next. Whether you are a criminal or not doesn't matter. Remember Texas had to be forced to let slaves free 2 years after everyone else did.Prisons are a big money making business in small Texas towns and supply a lot of jobs. They need bodies.

  • god bless america! hahahahahaha

  • You should be able to put anything in your body you want. What right does the government have over that. I say no god damn right at all.

  • @icam1414 Even if what you say is true, does that mean law enforcement can side step constitutional rights of American citzens? Sloppy police work, from a discredited police officer is why these people never deserved to go to trial, let alone get arrested.

  • @icam1414 -you're joking right? Even if every person in Tulia was a drug dealer it wouldn't be one of the biggest drug trafficing towns in the US. There are only 4,400 people in Tulia. Only about 430 of which are african american. You're nuts if you think that many people in such a small town were drug dealers, and it's been proven that the police there made it all up.

  • @munen3434 fuck you i live and tulia!!! and yes we do know everbody by name
