Stumbled up this trailer and thought it was cool... which led me to read the book 'A Princess of Mars' by Burroughs, published in 1917. I hope that they (and it looks like they do) stay true to the story.

If you believe the likes of Roddenberry and Lucas (to name a few) weren't influenced by Burroughs' work, you ought to read this book.
