depending on who you are. if you are a storm chaser or a tornado chaser, you follow the tornado as close as safely possible. if you are not a storm chaser or a tornado chaser, listen to local radio or television broadcasts for information and updates during a severe weather and go to the basement or a small room in the center of the house at the first floor away from windows and cover yourself with a blanket to reduce injury from flying debris.

It can be. I once saw one start to form from a distance but it failed. I want to see one fully formed some day. Tornadoes will be less frequent until next spring though.

is it beautiful to see nearby a tornado from?
-
Yes, around where I live most people do. However. The area that gets the most tornadoes is the Midwest. I live in the Northeast where there aren't as many tornadoes. We do get them sometimes. I have been through a few tornado warnings.

wow..do you have a basement?
-
For safety most people go to their basements.

Yes, I do a few DVD's (2 DVD sets, 2 hours of video) left of my storm chases. I also have a compilation video of amazing amateur tornado footage from the eastern United States along with some of the tornadoes featured above in this YouTube clip (2 hour DVD Eastern Fury)
Go to my webpage listed on my profile or on the YouTube info section for this video.
