Mother Teresa (1986). This powerful and inspiring film is considered the definitive portrait of the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mother Teresa. Shot on the run over a period of 5 years in 10 countries on 4 continents, this award winning film follows Mother Teresa into the world's most troubled spots. From the war in Beirut to Guatemala under siege, from the devastated streets of Calcutta to the ghettoes of the South Bronx, the film is an experience of the way Mother Teresa transcends all political, religious and social barriers with her works of love.

  • Religions aside, mother teresa was a far better person than most people bitching in the comments. doesnt matter what you believe in. its what you do.

  • @blaach You are wrong, I am from India and I believe I know more about her. Your point is that she let the poor and sick suffer ? But do you know anything about the places where she treated the sick and the poor ?

Here in India, Poor and Sick people were never attended to and they were just let to die like animals but Mother Teresa out of compassion and love got them in a Home and cared for them, Many recovered and many did not. She did what she could and for that I respect her.

  • @forgottenmemories63 Westerners have no idea what poverty is in developing countries. Poverty in the west is like a life of luxury for the east.

People should go and experience true poverty.

  • @forgottenmemories63 Thank you so much for your comment. Many Utubers who read Hitchens books and watched his docu-drama thinks that they know everything about Mother Teresa. They've never been to any of her facilities nor seen the kind of work she's done.

Even Hitchens has never met her nor seen any of her facilities. And his books on her has no references nor workcites. I find this Atheist and his followers very disturb.

  • @blaach Then why re you here then??

  • She is in Heaven i know it.

  • I ONLY CAN SAY RIP MOTHER TERESA

  • @krbato I soo agree with you...

  • Even though I'm an Atheist, I bow down to her with respect, She was a Great Soul and a person who sacrificed her whole life for the Sick and the Needy.

Sure, She wasn't perfect but think about it, She cared and attended to Thousands of people, So before you criticize her, Think of how many dying or sick people have you cared and tended for with love and affection ?

  • @krbato well if she didnt believe in love she wudnt have been so loving.

  • Teresa Hsu from SIngapore is another example of a humanity at its best:)
