for me he is the FF 13 version of sephiroth

Especially considering she died about every 15 years? That's 6 times a century, at least... Can't even fathom the pain... No wonder he wanted Noel to KILL him and become the next True Guardian. To take over so he could stop having to watch this precious little girl die...
There's so much pain in his voice when he mentions the individual Yeuls that he knew ("A Yeul who dreamed of travel. A Yeul who loved to sing! A Yeul who collected flowers..."). It kills me every time...

This song sends shivers down my spine.
Caius is my favorite antagonist of all time , without a doubt.

I love FFXIII-2.I will never understand why people don't like this game. I've actually enjoyed every final fantasy I've ever played and I hope it stays that way. Caius is awesome! I think his voice actor did a very good job and he is now my favorite antagonist. I hope they release some more dlc to find out more about Caius.

i must admit. Caius is my favourite character from all ff series. He is real strong and he has strong reason too.awesome !

@sweethartluver Not gonna argue a lot, but I don't like caius just for his look, they made him look to cartoony/animeistic look while I truly don't care for ff7 in the slightest at least sephiroth had normalish attire(disregarding the foot length hair, 7 foor sword, 7 feet tall, etc). Jecht has my vote

Sephiroth is extremely overrated. I even thought that when FF7 first came out. Caius though, not only is he a good villain but he's also feels really deep and human for a character. Caius as best FF villian forever <3

@PwnzooooR And have Lightning/Noel be their nemesis, you speak of epicness!

@psych0phil Caius believed he was doing the right thing for the person that meant most to him. You cannot but imagine the pain he must have felt every time the person he was swore to protected died over and over again in a time period of centuries or more. It is already very difficult as it is to watch someone you love die one, Caius had to bear it several times, those kind of events deal great emotional damage to anyone. I believe his role in the story is not yet totally revelead..
