The Singularity - Terence McKenna

Terence McKenna and Gregory Stock speak about the epic transition we face in the very near future called the Singularity.

This shift will be the result of the inevitable culmination of infinite technological progress and the emergence of completely new states of connectedness. Once the Singularity happens, infinite growth is reached. Within a very short amount of time (as a result of this exponential growth), we will take our first steps towards a new age as an entirely new entity.

We will then go on to saturate the entire physical universe with our newly born super-intelligence, or we will gain the ability to actually leave the 3-Dimensional universe and move to higher (or simply other) states of being.

Technological singularities, in order to be successful species-wide, must be preempted by a cognitive singularity, or a shift in consciousness that prepares the collective for the transformation. If a tech. singularity were to occur without this prepping, the result would be implosion via psychosis, which may be a built-in universal failsafe that ensures only the worthy can traverse the boundary.

@jerak984 I'm not saying you learn physics from entheogens. Entheogens teach you about other places (mental places) that dont have physics. If you want to learn physics, take a physics course; that's what I did. And yea, these drugs don't make you enlightened, but they let you gain a visionary state for a moment which you have to experience firsthand to appreciate. But if you believe its BS then there is no way to convince you otherwise. Besides you are at a level where entheogens wont help you.
