@DragonintheLibrary I know what you mean about watches, although I have to say this summer I've been getting more and more used to not wearing it, and that's nice. I find it kind of interesting that you noticed that I wear a watch, actually. It's something I consider normal, but it's true that not many young people do.
And by some amazing coincidence, I'm currently reading Love, Stargirl! It's wonderful, although it keeps making me cry.
@behindthesun02 Me too! It never used to be that way. I didn't used to wear my watch all the time, but now I do, and I feel so uncomfortable without it that I even wore it in my best friend's wedding (I was a bride's maid.) Actually Katie, one of the tiny and silly things I like about your videos is that you wear a watch, something not many people of our generation do anymore. Have you ever read "Love, Star Girl"? It's really good, and there's a fab poem about counting time.
It's weird how much time rules our lives. I feel like I would be so lost without knowing what time it was. And I always feel really confused when I don't pay attention to the time and all of a sudden it's hours later.
Unsurprisingly, the word "time" is one of the most used words in the English language. I think it may be in the top ten, but I'm not sure about that.
I've never been camping! I've always wanted to go though...It looks so peaceful! Time does freak me out... sometimes I love not knowing what time it is, other times I wish it would just stop, and other times I need to know. Funny, that.
I think because of the fact that we live in such a fast-passed schedule orientated world, ever-present knowledge of time becomes more and more a necessity.
I don't like it when I don't know what time it is. That's the reason I wear my watch! I really hate it when I'm late, too, so I feel the need to constantly know what time it is. I just generally like everything to be all nice and timely so I guess knowing what time it is just a part of that. I've also just always had a fascination with time and watches and clocks and stuff, so there's that, too!
YAY for library books in the wilderness.

I love camping. Though, when we go camping we usually go to camp sites so there ARE showers.
The point about knowing when we're gonna die is really interesting. I didn't think of that.

If I don't wear my watch I feel naked. No joke. Also, Katie, your video-making skills never cease to amaze and astound me. <3
