Don't ever get married in the United States. The corrupt Family Court system enslaves men. The Constitution is a worthless piece of c**p.

Screw the institution of marriage, with or without alimony. Marriage is a raw deal; it locks you to one single woman and turns you into her slave.

Avoid marriage. Avoid cohabitation. Avoid breeding.

The truth is that these laws are preventing people from getting married. Single men know how bad divorce can be because they have seen others go through it. The law needs to change so that people can marry for love and not worry about divorce and alimony.

@FoodCubes It's called common law. If you cohabitate she can take you to court and depending on how many years ya'll lived together the state could treat it like a marriage. Every state is different on this. So it's best that she has her place and you have yours. She can't have any mail or any of her belonging in your place. It has to be strictly visit and spend the night. And even prenumps expire so they are no good. Also it's best not to move in together and mix finances anyway.

@boston312 I'm with you on that. Any guy who opens his ass up to the system should get it handed to him. Sad thing is some of my good friend believes in marriage like a religious conservative guy. It really makes no sense to get the system involved and put yourself at risk. Child support is bad enough. But some guys will never learn.

Indentured Servitude. Those of us who have to pay permanent alimony are suffering in indentured servitude. Can't retire.
