Remove Search Engines From Just Type on WebOS (HP TouchPad)

It took me a quick Google search to find the solution for the search engines that get automatically added to the Just Type search engines. Apparently the HP representative that I talked to didn't even know about this method so I decided to share it with other new HP TouchPad owners like myself.

hey thanks for showing this man, just type kept popping up everytime id wake up the device asking me if i'd like to add whatever site i last visited into a just type search option...this will help me get rid of those finally! cheers

Thanks, the Palm blog gave me instructions on how to add a promo code search engine to Just Type and it added 10 garbage items along with it. It is curious that Just Type does not allow us to swipe-delete. I still have some stuff that I cannot get rid of (CNN, IMDb, Amazon, etc) using your method but it took care of those 10 junk entries.

Excellent video.

@sridharankuppa. It took me a long time to figure, but swiping right on the notification bar will clear it from the notification bar. Swiping left has no effect. Thanks HP.
