  • JIMMIE VAUGHN HAS LOTS OF SOUL .COMPLETELY DIFFRENT STYLE FROM HIS BROTHER WHERE STEVIE IS CLOSER TO ALBERT KING AND OTHER KINGS ,JIMMIE IS MORE LIKE EDDIE TAYLOR OR LUTHER TUCKER AND MAGIC SAM

  • Jimmie Vaughan is one soulful man.

  • That was some hot shit right there.

  • @MrHogwash77 i keep thinking of getting one but they sound plinky

  • Love this clip more, every time I watch it. Special mention for Wes Starr on drums with that 'unique' left hand grip, what a groove.

  • @roywebber - it's the same over here, but maybe less so, for everybody who likes this there's dozens of 'tube screamers'. know you'll dig 'Big Town Playboy'!

    cheers

  • @jayscott49 -you're welcome Jay. I'm just a fan myself but here in the UK people tend to go for the bluesrock stuff mostly so its always nice to find someone who appreciates the old school styles. Seen clips of the Rockpalast dvd and I'll check that `Big Town Playboy` cd too. Thanks.

  • @roywebber @roywebber - hey Roy! thanks, i'm just a fan, saw the early T-Birds allot, my benchmark too. do you have the Rockpalast DVD? also, the Omar Dykes 'Big Town Playboy' CD is f**king brilliant, maybe the best JV ever imo, all the way into Eddie Taylor and then some with the same line-up as 'Jimmy Reed Highway' and also produced by Derek O'Brien, check it out and thanks again!

  • @jayscott49 dont know who you are but just wanted to say I agree with every comment of yours that I've read. The early T-Birds are still the benchmark for any blues band.

  • Fender Coronados are Fender's black sheep due to their pickups, which are on the weak side, prone to feedback and microphonics, sometimes painfully bright, and darned near impossible to fix. But, as you can see, they can be used quite well in the right hands!
