@medexamtoolsdotcom I think leopards are fantastic creatures, I like them in the wild or a registered preserve/some zoos. The news this week demonstrates my point, as does the chimp attack a few years back, even the most trained handlers, and the most tame beasts will one day clash, at worst you have people as we did in this area about 20 yrs ago that had dozens of lions in cages that were death camp-skinny. 20 chickens a day per animal got to be a bit more expense than they were counting on.

@WarpSpeedProductions That would make one hell of a story now wouldn't it...

@painxtreme My comment wasn't juvenile, it's the logical extension of what you said applied to other things, to show how absurd what you said was. Your claim was that keeping such an animal as a pet would not be useful to you, so no one on Earth should do it. So I gave you some examples of other things with no inherent utility that you would find yourself vastly against conventional public opinion for opposing. Your argument boils down to "car useful, car good, leopard not useful, leopard bad".

HE GOT THE TASTE OF BLOOD!

Unlike a dog, a bit cat can crush bones in a single bite and tear flesh off a whole lot easier. xD
The main thing that makes them too dangerous for pets is they go for the throat when they bite, meaning they bite to kill; their claws are also used to hook into prey. They are designed to kill. So if one turns on a person in their home, it's game over.
he's not kissing you.... he's checking your flavoring and the nibbling is to see how plump you are -_-

@doctorw2 While the good Doctor here is correct, remember that dogs were slowly domesticated over thousands of years and foxes, through science, were domesticated in about 50. So big cats will be next on the list. Just imagine the story in the news: "A rapist broke into a family home and discovered the mountain lion living inside. His remains have yet to be recovered."
