Pinlock ProtecTint, the newest variation on the existing Pinlock inner visors. It turns from crystal clear to dark smoke due to the sunlight.

  • They will be available again in February / March

  • Would this be dark enough to cut the glare of the low autumn sun and would this therefore have no legal issues?

  • @morpheus20170 I think this is a personal thing. About the legal issues, officially the ProtecTint is "track use only"

  • Helmet visors are indeed UV blockers, but never for 100%. This makes it possible for the ProtecTint to change colour. The Maximum of darkeness for the ProtecTint will be between light smoke and dark smoke, depending on temperature and the amount of UV radiation..
