Ret solo Twin Emperors AQ40

I dont record my kills of vanilla bosses, but this was an exception. As of today the only kill vid is of jider bugging the bosses on the ptr and engaging them with only one boss active. I initially had no interest in trying this solo since my attempt back in 4.06 but a solo thread on mmo-champ got me back to thinking what could i solo. Going into this fight I did not think it would be possible to kill the twin emps by myself. A few days earlier I had even posted that I thought they would still be impossible for ret pallies to solo. Boy was I wrong. My first attempt which was half assed I got them down to 50% at enrage. My thoughts were that if I could get them to 50% i could refine what im doing, boost my dps and get these guys down, and the result was a solo kill.

I'm very skeptical about this video. My a ret speced paladin with gear level 390 and I can't even make this guy flinch. I can't out heal his dps and I cant out dps his heals. Tried several times with divine storm nature resistance, shield and one handed. I can see a fury warrior or dk if they're able to survive the spanking of a room full of adds. And just to note that no one else who commented is a good comparison. As a ret paladin lvl390 I do not believe this.

@dominikan8 Well if your doing this using ds, and a shield and 1 hander, thats your problem. You wont be able to do enough dps using that. Your only heals should be coming from WoG, and I specced into the 60% increase crit chance for WoG when I'm below 35% health just for this fight. So WoG + Sacred Shield = monster heals.

@dominikan8 "room full of adds"? You have to clear before it or the guys in the room previous to that come in making it impossible. I haven't been in AQ in a long while but I'm pretty sure I remember that from this fight.

Hey! Nice vid. What cooldown mod do you use on your bars? I use omniCC and it doesn't show anything below 1 sec cd. I like the .9-.1 secs left lol
