  • any body know who preformed at moma@nite at the 5:00 pm show on august 6th 2009? it was music i really liked but i can't find the info on the artist anywhere

  • I agree with you!

  • wow...did i hear hatred for moma in your tone fnordianslip? You must work for another musuem. And hey dont knock it until you tried it. Its amazing to just relax, have a cocktail or five and enjoy live music and art at the same time. You need to get out more and enjoy life.

  • a) i am surprised that the moma would not consider even a mild amount of production consideration for a possibly interesting cultural event. this feels, looks, and is edited like a hotel-room advertisement for the hotel's amenities.

i mean, its the moma, supposedly they should have waves of artists looking to produce videos promoting such an important institution.

  • b) why not book some culturally relevant musical acts? while it is important to keep traditional folk music from other countries alive, there are a large number of artists, easily contactable through internet means, who are really creating something original and interesting that would actually stimulate and reach an audience that would otherwise be completely unaware of the existence of such aesthetics, ideas, and music.

shouldn't this be the goal of such an institution?

  • Ok...
