Thank you Jesus, Praise you Father, Blessed is the child -- SmackDown was downright entertaining this week! Christmas came early for us here at MichelleMcCool.Net on the SmackDown review front, and we must say... bravo, bravo! After the dry spell of the horrific events that have taken place over the last few weeks, the drought of disaster for LayCool seem to have vanished! LayCool brought the fierce, the sexy, and the downright comedy we know and love them for! So, without further delay, let's review what may just be the last good episode of SmackDown before 2010 comes to a close (knock on wood).
We begin with LayCool making their way to the ring, with both matching outfits and matching Slammy's from Monday Night (Diva of the Year, boyyyyy!!!), and wow... does Michelle ever look fabulous! From the hair, to the top, to her skinny jeans, and those damnnnn, look at her boots! She brought it.
So LayCool are in the ring, now with mics in hand, and they make their case that, quite frankly, a tag team table's match is beneath them. While they make their position in TLC's scheduled match known, it isn't long before their opponents make their way to the ring. With the Divas championship and... a rather large gift! Gifts?! This can't be good. Eventually, Beth and Natalya run their mouths, and all we hear is something similar to the teacher from Charlie Brown: whomp, whomp, whomp, whomp. They fall on our deaf ears and glazed over eyes, lost in the beauty that is one, Michelle McCool.
Speaking of McCool, she shoots back on the mic saying that she and Layla are "Diva." They embody the true meaning of Diva -- smart, sexy and powerful, but with grace, dignity, and nobility. Unlike Butch Phoenix and Nairtalya, who look, act, walk, smell, and probably even pee... like men. They belong in the men's division. Ha! Ha! Did we not say that during our last review? Point is, LayCool want no part of this match. This leads to... the gift. Beth is at liberty to unwrap the large gift, and what do you know... not only is it a table, but it's painted with "Witch-like toons of LayCool" -- of which, reads "LayFool" and "Flawed." Okay, we were rolling at this point, and chances are, you probably were too had you watched SmackDown. LayCool's reaction was priceless, better yet, flawless! They bring the funny in their reaction, which, seconds later, leads to retaliation! LayCool drop their mics and Slammy's and go on the attack!
Unfortunately, Team Testosterone gets the leverage here (and who could blame them, LayCool were at a disadvantage with their heels!). Michelle is somehow knocked out of the ring, with Layla seemingly about to fall both prey and victim of The Dude Crew. The table is set and both woMEN lift Layla high in the air as they seek a double suplex, ready to give Layla some wood (har, har). Thankfully, Michelle rushes to the ring and is able to make a quick save, as she manages to kick Natalya in the pudgy gut before dragging Layla out of the ring. It is now solidified. LayCool will meet Team Testosterone in a Divas Tag Team Table match this Sunday at TLC!
We were almost to the point of tears, laughing at how horribly funny the toon of LayCool on the table looked. Yes, yes... we're clearly supporters of Michelle McCool, and by default, Layla, too... but even we have to admit that was pretty funny. Sadly, we did notice that Natalya, while she is without a shadow of a doubt, one heck of a wrestler, she does seem like a one-note Diva. We wouldn't go as far as saying she lacks charisma, rather... personality? With Beth by her side showing a wide range of emotion during the segment, Natalya left us wondering... what gives? There was a lot of life and spirit in the ring. That doesn't go without saying that we're really starting to sink our teeth into this feud. LayCool really seem to have a "challenge" on their hands, and WWE is definitely starting to make things a bit more interesting. Without the title on the line, win or lose, we can expect this feud to continue past Sunday. Oh, and one more thing...
There she goes again, making history! Michelle's going to be apart of the first-ever Diva's Tag Team Table Match -- phew!
Laycool, they are fast talkers
But Beth and Natalya, they are not good at talking
That's okay. Because they are really powerful and dominating
