And believe it or not, they don't just work on one game at a time
This game took 2 years, at most.
Production team is also different.

@CrossLoader Well, I haven't read a lot about the plot 'cause I don't want to spoil it for me, but I think I got this right. Lightning sets the events in the game in motion, Noel helps Serah look for Lightning, then she changes that objective to "save Noel's future" and for whatever reason "the guy in purple" wants to stop them.
