Well then, might be a good opportunity to "Get Receiver", "Take to Gunsmith", "Pick Up Rifle Two Weeks Later" and have them do a nice job on it.

a 4 jaw chuck would be better, then you can indicate off the mandril, and get everything squared up.

you do not need to measure the "Distance between the torque shoulders" as you can install barrels without their use, using only one.

and Yes, these videos are about the process as a whole, NOT a DIY project.
