@will101page Yes, but as a society they are decades away from any Latin American nation. Even Honduras, where 80% of the people can read and write, whereas in UAE 80% CAN'T read or write.

As much as I love Dubai...I love London more...i encourage dubai to build as big as possible, but stealing the London Eye is not on at all :/

@FernandoLuis191 Only 4% of Dubai's economy is fuelled by oil...so oil is pretty irrelevant. Why do you think they built the place? Tourism is their goal, not oil, oil is abu dhabi not dubai. You should get your facts right before trolling as it is very simple why dubai was built - for the exact reason you mentioned...no oil, so rack in the tourism to keep the economy booming.

It's just a bomb waiting to explode(literally). Oil isn't gonna last forever, and United Arab Emirates has way too many extremists. A city of this scale should've been built in Tunisia or Egypt, not UAE.

I love Dubai's versatility in the way it plays with architecture. Broadly, this city depicts more shapes and accents than most other cities around the world. I find, however, their man-made islands to be horribly unaesthetical.
