The full-length version was actually a mamrathon 40 minute long jam, which Composer/Producer Norman Whitfield later pared down to a 10 minute+ version for the "Ecology" LP, and to 3:40 for the 45 single.

The thing I remember about this song is the super long version which I remember from the 8 track tape clicked to the next track during a long jam part of the song. it was close to what would be 2:20 on this version. I think the original was over 10 minutes long...

@tohidefromourways Thats cool, I think more metal bands need to blend other styles of music other than just classical. My favorite metal band is death, my favorite band is I Mother Earth, and they blend funk and metal with many other styles
