Oksana Chusovitina performs her optional floor exercise routine in the team competition of the 1991 World Championships. She gets the highest optional floor score in the competition with a 9.975. Together with her compulsory floor score, she qualifies 4th into the event finals, where she ties Cristina Bontas for the gold medal.

Chusovitina debuts her double layout full-out and gets the skill named after her.

The audience is reacting to Kim Zmeskal's second vault and the perfect 10 that she receives for it.

  • They were cheering for the American's on vault but they really should have been cheering for Chuso! She did an amazing routine with a ground breaking new tumbling pass in women's gymnastics!

  • @eamoblue True, but for whatever reason they didn't submit it back then. It's only named after you if you submit it before the competition and then perform it the exact way it's described, which is why there is no such thing as a "Miller" on beam.

  • @alecia567 I think you will find that a soviet had already done a layout full out in 1987!
