2 counter rotating lenz 2 turbines charging up to 20 amps This is 3 video's combined. we had a blizzard go thru with some nice winds for a wind turbine. It got up to 20 Amps(about 1/3 way thru video) a few times when the wind hit the low 20's, but most of the time was a little over 10 amps. Both turbines did well in the higher winds. There was no noticable vibration from the one on the roof. They had predicted gusts to 45 and 50 mph but I never got any wind that high while I was watching during the day. There may have been some higher winds overnight. So this does charge but the alternator needs to be better matched to charge more in lower wind speeds. Both turbines are running alternators with 60 turns of 2 strands #18 wire. there are 12 wedge shaped magnets on each steel disk. The alternator plans are on Ed Lenz's site Windstuffnow.com where I got the turbine building information. I changed them to counter rotating with the stator attached to one set of wings and the rotors to the other for more RPM's. This is a long video but it's the one showing the most charging.
Awesome video glad to see your system is working so good .I want to know if you have worn a path to your meters I know I have to mine.TAKE CARE HAPPY HOLIDAYS keep us posted
