@Fastgate4beat i agree 100% we also have rockys they are not aloud to canter either
-
@randombucknellian i actully have a gelding that does not have to have pads or weights to be a low riding big lick horse
-
@Fastgate4beat I was actually referring to the Big Lick horses who are on stacks a foot high, whose owners are rewarded for abusing their horses (have you ever actually seen a Big Lick class when the judges ask the horses to canter????). Did I ever say TWH cannot canter? No. My reference to stacks should have been an obvious allusion to the Big Lick horses.

@randombucknellian lol you act like a twh physically cannot canter? and we dont let them canter because that gets their gait messed up. you will understand once you want some comfort...

I think it's great to see a walker actually able to canter, not on stacks, etc.

He sold about a year ago to someone that does Hunter Jumpers. He's pretty good at it, too.

I'd rather see one canter and need more training than to see one pace. Thank you for the comment. Jet is almost finished in the certification.

He's out of gear a lot in this video because he's being ridden for the first time with a bosal. This horse can rack on with a snaffle bit.
