KH2FM - Oogie Boogie No Damage/Limit/Item/Magic (LV1 CM)

Here is Oogie. This time I put Jack in my party just for the fun of it (Not like any of them stay alive long in this fight anyway). And I do love the song that plays during this fight, it's nice boss music, and I do believe it's the first time it plays in the game.

So Oogie had an awkward fight in KH1, and it's the same in KH2/FM. But it's not hard. This is a defensive fight. You have to knock the presents back up into Oogie's balcony thing and once too many are in there he'll fall out. You have to do this a total of 3 times. His actual HP is capped at certain parts. And when you do knock him out, he'll stay unconcious I'm pretty sure until you reach that mark in his HP. So don't bother using Limits or Drives or anything.

His moves are predictable and simple to dodge. It does take practice though, because things happen fast in the last part. For the first part he basically sends out 3 presents and then does an attack. If he says "I'll squash you flat", back away a little and watch out for the fist thing. Quick Run past it, don't Guard it or you'll just go into the spike wall behind you. If he says something like "Uh" (idk), move out of the way because he's tossing an explosive bag at you. You're invincible during the Reaction Commands, but it doesn't last long so don't rely on it to defend you.

The second part is where he starts sending out bags of enemies. You DO NOT want to fight these guys. They'll either kill you or you'll forget you're on a moving track and end up in the spikes. So instead, go to another area and the Heartless will most likely dissapear. Do this everytime he says "I hope you like the..." etc.

The last part is the trickest. He'll do a "Let's see you dodge this" move where lightning strikes down and moves towards you. It's easy to dodge, but note that in the final part this is the only time to knock gifts up into the top. So don't waste it only dodging. If he says "Come on baby", it means he's sending Oogie bags that open up very fast, which means get the hell off that track. Also note during the Lightning part that he'll still do another normal attacks, like the explosive bag or fist move. So listen for those.

There's other annoying things that he does in the video, but I'm not going to type anymore, too much to explain. Just watch it. It was pretty tough to get no damage on. I thought I mastered the fight in my LV18 video. I was wrong about that.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.

Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.

Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.

Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.

Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.

Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?

Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.

Ok, I have two questions.

1. What gives you the signal to move when he throws those bombs? I can never tell when he does them.

2. When you move to a different conveyor belt when he spawns the, "boogie gifts" do the heartless disappear?
