@madeupscreenname No. He is right. 56.6kbps modems is kilobits (kbps) not kilobytes (KB/s).
1 kbps = 1000 bits per second
1 KB/s = 8.192kbps

It will get there and it won't get there. According to how this all works, there are multiple Titors in multiple universes working together and apart and sometimes not at all trying to get the messages across. One thing is certain, I don't think you are getting any messages from the future or the past, nor did you play any relevant role in his story.
