This solo better than download festival, imo. It's pretty sick and you can see him get into it a bit. That really makes a difference. Especially since thats the only real criticism people try to give petrucci, its not on technique, its about getting into it. And he does that a lot. Here it is abundantly evident

Would like to know what James activated with his foot at 0:27 ? never seen, nor Have I ever controlled my own sound or effects from the stage like a guitar player. I have used Sound techs that I wish I could, Mabey this is the case, but I doubt it with thier resorces of techs
