Awwww I understand this is a prequel, but I'm still gonna miss seiya, shiryu, hyoga, shun, and ikki I loved them because they reminded me of brothers with strong bonds and that they're always there fighting eachother and never succumbing to the enemy

@dragosursu231 Its a "prequel" to saint seiya. The main focus is the holy war that happenned 200 years before the one in the original saint seiya.

@MrMikethecooler Actually, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas has finished. Well, for the manga at least. Anime is just slow, but the manga is just as good if not better than the anime. It's really amazing. If you want to finish it then just go read the manga.

@MichelIchiy Yeah but if you read the Manga all the other Zodiac Knights (Gold Saints) fight. The series and manga are so great... You can't just make a series based on the classical Saint Seiya and just not finish it.. They really need to finish LC, also they need to make an anime for the Next Dimension, Episode G, and probably reanimate the series. I mean they already franchised it into a PS3 game!

@MrMikethecooler I don't think so. It is a OVA, and has 26 episodes according to wikipedia. Aquarius and Scorpion don't fight in the series....it's a shame. I wanted to see Gemini...or other bronze saints..

@CrysisFear Personally, I think this show is great. Though it is true that nothing beats the original, this show has a great many charms and at the same time, cannot be compared to the original because of the simple fact that it does not follow the same storyline. As @scbetton said: It is a prequel, not a remake. Comparing the original Saint Seiya with Lost Canvas would be like comparing apples and stars. By the way, that is not Seiya, it is Tenma, the previous Pegasus Saint.
