I remember Eustace Conway came to my elementary school years ago. He talked about Native cultures and various survival techniques. I think he told us that mashed acorns worked as a neurotoxin on fish. I thought that was so cool.

plenty of film, read his book The Last American Man, which is about his life. I first read it in my english class in college, and it was one of the best books I have ever read! and Carolinas own!
