hi, heres a weedeater 17CC featherlite engine I converted for R/C aircraft use. I cut the excess aluminum off it and cut down the flywheel. I trimmed the plastic backplate and made a motor mount.
I put a knurled prop adaptor on it. I made a new cylinder gasket. I put a 2 needle valve walbro carb on it also. I painted the cylinder with chevrolet orange engine paint. the paint bubbled up and not perfect but It looks ok. its running with a master airscrew 16X6 prop. its a very light and powerful little engine. thank you. Gary. ;-)

  • I built a homemade powered harness for my hang glider. I had to use a radne raket 120cc engine. My question to you is do you think I would be able to go with a smaller cc engine if I got rid of the reduction pulley? Would you be interested in working with me to find a lower cc engine that would work? I would be willing to pay you.

  • what do you use to cut of the excess metal from the crank case?
