Diamond Ring Solar Eclipse 2006

I'd like to see one of these in real life.

During the month of august you'll be able to see mars, it'll look like the moon, but red or somthing like that, my mom told me. If i remember, I'll at least get to see that, and It'll be just as good as seeing a solar eclipse :] . If anyone misses the viewable mars during august, you'll never see it again as it wont happen for another 1,000 years or somthing like that.

next eclipse in Asia, in July 22, 2009. It will get to our country too!

when a solar eclipse happens is it day then turns dark? or its night already?

when a solar ecplise happens the moon totally blocks the sun in the middle of the day so everything turns black. Then the moon keeps moving and the sun reappears
