  • @al420ful @al420ful hi ya sorry for the delay in answering yes the imax will charge this battery.you can select upto 5.2 amps charge rate using the 10% charge rule but i would suggest charging at around 3 amp(its much kinder to the pack to slow charge it)the charger dosnt have a builtin cooling fan so when it comes to putting this pack from fully charged to storage v(3.8v per cell)it will heat up so i would suggesta real slow discharge to storage mode(1 amp perhaps and moniter)

  • Hi dayshadow - I think the instruction video is very useful, please delete glenncol's post as I find his language offensive and uneccessary in that he use the 'f' word and I would like my kids to be able to view this video. He should be intelligent enough to be able to make a point without resorting to profanities (or maybe he isn't).

  • @nepouka ok its done.thanks for watching :)

  • Can you tell me what current setting I should use when charging a NiCd or NiMh in both auto and manual? For instance, in Manual is the current setting the recommended charging rate or the capacity, so if a battery has a capacity of 1000mah and recommended charge rate of 100mah shoul the setting be 100mah (or 0.1A)? In Auto should the setting be the maximum charge rate, again 100mah as this is the recommended rate. Or should these figures be the capacity 1000mah (1A)?

  • @al420ful yeah I think so but only at a 5 amp charge rate which is the max for this unit. The B8 is the next step above this is you ever decide to go 8S

  • when you charging a lipo is the first setting the charge rate or capacity battery? For example I have a 2200mah battery I normally set it to 2.5 at 11.1 when charging. So I'm charging it at 2.5amps or is it the charger stopping when reaching 2500mah?

  • @bobbymalta73 can i charge 11.1V 5200MAH 20C RC AKKU Lipo battery 3S
