Something sounds wrong with your button. Although I get mine from another source they look identical. For me it's by far my favorite and I've tried many. Nice feel with a solid indent/click. Sounds like you just got a bad one.
As far as super glue it's a bad choice as it will not hold up well to eliquid (neither will hot melt.) so keep as clean as you can.

@TheGusK Yup it was a bad diy button.Only one ive had since that has been bad..I dont use super glue gel anymore either..Fill free to chime in on another supplier :)
