Gossip Girl Cast Drama - Who Is Mad At Who?

The drama on Gossip Girl hasn't been up to par as of late, but maybe that's because the ladies on the show have been saving their claws for behind the scenes action! That story's up next!

Hey everyone-thanks for coming back to ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis with a quick look at some serious drama brewing on the set of Gossip Girl. Fans of the hit show are loving all of the new music that Leighton Meester has been putting out. But what some people don't know is that Taylor Momsen is also quite the talented singer herself. She's done lots of little shows here and there, but she's obviously not getting the same level of attention as her brunette co-star. And now that Leighton's music is getting played on Gossip Girl, the mean girl action is supposedly intensifying.

According to HollywoodLife, Taylor is not happy about this situation and they've never asked her if they could play any of her songs. And in true girl-drama fashion---things are getting super tense on the New York set. But a rep from the CW network says that the show will support Taylor and her music when the time is right, but that her music isn't ready yet.




If you ask me, both of the ladies are extremely talented singers, and if you haven't heard Taylor's tracks, make sure to check them out. Plus, on the viewer side of things, isn't this just adding fuel to fire when it comes to inspiration for the acting on Gossip Girl? I think we might just be winners all around. Gossip Girl is a preppy TV show, of coarse they are going to put Leightons peppy pop songs.on there....I personally love The Pretty Reckless, its my favorite band, Taylor has a much better voice than Leighton. But they're styles are totally different, Taylor's music is awesome hardcore rock music. Leighton is pop music. And todays music is all crappy mainstream pop music....I prefer Taylor because she's REAL. And what about Ed Westwick's band? Their totally awesome too. =]
