  • What did you guys use for the base and pole?

  • We used a wood base and a wood pole.  Just screwed them together. See the whole post on this on our website.

  • Just a heads up, you are supposed to use multiple layers, not just one. Also you should take your measurements and draw the lines on the dummy of where the measurements are and how much the measurements are. Then when you go to tape it up the back you match the lines and you make sure that it doesn't shift on you. Also I was told if you put some cardboard inside it almost like a skeleton it helps keep the shape also.
