Due to the “one flesh” aspect of marriage, the need for oneness and harmony in marriage, and the lack of any real need for polygamy, it is my firm belief that polygamy does not honor God and is not His design for marriage.
In most cultures today, women are able to provide for and protect themselves—removing the only “positive” aspect of polygamy.
It is not so much God’s disallowing something He previously allowed as it is God’s restoring marriage to His original plan.

@PRIDEISSIN1 it soves not only the problems related to social but also to individual, moral, physical, physchological..family, genetical, war or calamity crisis etc.. i canexplain all the points. And we moslims follow what quran says.. which is 100% right. if any uncertain things there in Islam it will be revealed in future.

The fact is that God did not commanded polygamy or divorce, either in NT or OT. Human started it as a part of his fall and lust or social problems.
When Muhammad allowed up to 4 wives ,did he say it was to solve only social problems. NO
God will be very happy if you do not do it. The statistics you showed is not reliable probably also considered
ages from infants to 90[ not marriageable age]
