Anime Convention: Sakura-Con 2008, Day One Part One

PLEASE READ: this footage starts off shaky because i was not seriously filming anything for a while. this was also my first time with this video camera. and lastly, the angle starts out kinda low because i was filming at a low angle. sorry for the temporary inconvenience!

so a few weeks ago, i went to an anime convention called "sakura-con" with a couple of my friends. this is an event synonymous with the pacific northwest and is associated with anime and the asian culture. i have been to this event four times...it's lots of fun! anyway, here is my rendition of the events that unfolded during this mini-vacation. i have lots of footage and plan to out a series of the sakura-con event. enjoy!

oh, this is an ALMOST continuous shot of the footage i got. i did edit out parts of it because 1) i didn't want to bore you guys and 2) i edited myself out of the footage because i'm camera shy lol. also i added textual commentary just to liven up the footage.

oh darn well tis abotu a week before the conevnetion are yo uguys goign to make it ther and i wanted to see this video ,btu with no audio bleh oh wlell i put some random techno musci behind it to see if it fit rate 5 star

well i'll be carrying around a japanese yoyo to play with it while i'm in lines with my friend so just look for a sasuke playing with a japanese yoyo

i didn't go last year but my friend went last year and she went to the Ali Project concert and panel

you should leave yourself in the video next time and i'm a washingtonian too hehehe

2009 should be a fun year for the Sakura con hahaha

see i knew i shoulda taken drama in high school lol. tell ya what, i'll TRY to get over my shyness. but it might take a little while. the next convention in my area is in april, and unless the apocolypse happens, i will be filming. so i'll try and get some guts and not edit myself out :).

i was in drama class so my camrea shyness went away a long time ago...I like being silly for the camera. best method for getting over it is to tell yourself that this is your video and that you have every right to be in it

lol i think you just wanna see me. just messin' with ya :). but i also hate my voice, it's on the high-pitched side. so i'm gonna have to take real babysteps into integrating myself into my videos :P. so is that what you did to get over camera shyness (if you even had it)?
