Match #1 - ECW World Heavyweight Championship (ECW)
Chavo Guerrero
Champion def. CM Punk
Challenger via Pinfall (7:15)
Notes: I like Punk as much as the next guy, but this match wasn't all that great. It was ok, but nothing special. Punk went for a huricarana off the top rope but Chavo held on, and then put Punk away with the Frog Splash.
Match #2 - Elimination Chamber Match (SMDN/ECW)
The Undertaker def. Dave Batista
Finlay
Montel Vontavious Porter
The Great Khali
w/Ranjin Singh
Big Daddy V
w/Matt Striker via Pinfall (29:26)
Notes: Dave and Undertaker started things off, thank goodness. I couldn't have stomached Khali and BDV going at it by themselves for five minutes (shudder). Crap, BDV was the first one out of the pods. He actually dominated a bit, but after the Undertaker delivered a DDT on the steel floor, Batista pinned BDV at 9:08. A few seconds after, Khali was released. He didn't last too long, submitting to the UT's new submission maneuver at 12:35. Finlay came out next, and the match got a bit better now that the riffraff was eliminated. Undertaker was waiting for MVP when the clock ticked down, so MVP tried holding the door shut. He later climbed on top of a pod to escape 'Taker, but to no avail. Undertaker chokeslammed him off the top, and Finlay made the pin at 22:30. Hornswoggle stuck his head up between a pod and the ring and tossed the shillelah to Finlay, who did some damage with it. 'Taker chokeslammed Finlay onto the steel floor and pinned him at 24:11. The match picked up at this point. Batista had 'Taker up on his shoulder for a powerslam on the steel floor, but 'Taker held onto the chain wall. Batista backed up and flipped over the rope, putting 'Taker's feet on the floor and Batista's head in line for a Tombstone. Nice finish.
Match #3 (INTER)
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair def. Ken Kennedy via Submission (7:14)
Notes: Well, we all knew he would make it to WrestleMania anyway. This was short and I didn't really care about it. Ric got on the mic and cut a promo after.
Match #4 - World Heavyweight Championship (SMDN)
Edge
Champion def. Rey Mysterio
Challenger via Pinfall (5:27)
Notes: Boy, Rey Rey didn't put up much of a fight. He should lose this quickly every match.
IN RING: The Big Show made his return to WWE at this time, having lost a ton of weight. Rey Rey was still being worked on at this time, and that fact did not escape Big Show's notice. Show grabbed Rey Rey and taunted him, causing Floyd Mayweather Jr. to enter the ring and make the save. The two men faced off, with Show even getting on his knees to make it even. Floyd immediately got in some shots and broke Show's nose. He immediately hit the silk after, running off into the crowd. Shane McMahon even made an appearance and calmed Show down.
Match #5 - WWE World Heavyweight Championship (RAW)
John Cena
Challenger def. Randy Orton
Champion via DQ (15:50)
Notes: OK match. Orton was feigning a leg injury on the outside, demanding that the referee count him out. Cena wasn't buying it, however. He went outside, but got an RKO. Cena was able to beat the count, but Randy slapped the referee across the face, causing the DQ. Cena was upset, so he threw a tantrum and hit Orton with an FU and the STFU.
Match #6 - Elimination Chamber Match (RAW)
Triple H def. Jeff Hardy
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho
Umaga
John "Bradshaw" Layfield via Pinfall (23:55)
Notes: HBK and Y2J started this one off. Umaga was the next to enter, and he was able to do a double-Samoan drop on the other two. He was then put in the Walls of Jericho and the Crossface. Looked like it hurt. JBL made his way in next and went after Jericho. Trips entered next, and he was on fire right out of the gates. Jericho missed a Lionsault on HHH, and HHH tried giving the Pedigree to Jericho, but JBL took down HHH with the Clothesline From Hell. Y2J ran over and one Codebreaker later, JBL was eliminated at 13:44. JBL was pissed off and brought a chair into the ring, nailing everyone. Umaga plowed his ass through Y2J's face and one of the pods. Then everyone delivered their finishers on Umaga and Y2J pinned him at 19:45. But when he got up, HBK drilled him with Sweet Chin Music and Hardy pinned him at 19:54. A Pedigree put HBK down for the pin by HHH at 20:25. A pretty good battle ensued, but of course Hunter won the match after a Pedigree on a chair. All the little Hardy fans went home disappointed.
