  • I dont think this is the voice of Pavarotti in 1963, I would think later in the 70's or 80's.

  • Excuse me, but this is not a recording from 1963, he made his debut in 1963... this is from 1990, the Italy World Cup (Calcio).

  • People. STFU about what year this is from & just listen. It transcends all the bullshit of people arguing when it was recorded and not truly appreciating how incredibly magnificent it is! Was it a young Luciano Pavarotti or from 1997? Who cares . . . LISTEN!!

  • This is from a concert in the Piazza Grande, Moderna in 1985.....

  • agree

  • I never noticed that this is the same melody as Elvis', It's Now Or Never! Just struck me as Funny!

  • @Kiarinadia Agree

  • @Kiarinadia definitely so

  • creo que no existe una voz más evocadora y luminosa que la luciano.

  • No, vi correggo: questa registrazione dal vivo è stata fatta a Modena verso la fine degli anni '80. Ho la cassetta a casa, e non mi sbaglio, fidatevi.

This recording was made in Modena at the end of the '80s. I have the original tape at home, I'm not wrong, trust me.

  • @pbarroso001 You are right! 1961 was the year of his debut. I remember I saw this concert live on TV. I found the video of this day. The user singercanela posted it under the name of "Luciano Pavarotti - O sole mio - 1990 - Milano - FIFA concert". This world cup was far away the best organized, with this concert, and the three tenors first concert at Caracalla. The best world cup song, too (Notte magiche). Thanks my friend!!
