It was 2:15 am on a frigid, snowy night, early tuesday Jan 18, 2011 in Huntington NY. This car caught on fire as it was driven. The driver pulled over and frantically knocked on doors in the neighborhood to contact emergency services. I woke up, looked out my window, called EMS and started filming through my window from about 300 ft away. There was an eery silence thoughout the town as the snow fell with wind chills in the low 20's while flames engulfed this vehicle within minutes. You can hear the roaring flames, loud crackles, and even the tires exploding. It was an awesome spectacle on a serene, snowy backdrop. Credit the Huntington Fire Department for extinguishing the fire.
Thanx for posting this interesting clip
