WARNING: There is some profanity and in-game violence in this video, children viewership is definitely not recommended. You've been WARNED!

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Game was released on the N64 and PC. This is the N64 version.
Recording, gameplay and commentary done by me.

Here is one of my favorite first-person shooters on the Nintendo 64 and is probably well-received by many. It is a first-person shooter that gets away from the idea of crawling through corridors and tries something new: Fog, open areas, platform jumping, key collecting and a hub with level entrances connected to it. The end result is something quite interesting but it's something you'll have to watch and judge for you!

Enjoy the video!

  • Way to make an amazing game completely uninteresting.

  • @conneryg It's hard for me to believe you when you don't tell me why. You don't have to give me a reason, people can have opinions after all.

  • @WaddlerD You could start by sounding like you aren't bored just playing the game. The inflection in your voice makes the listener feel like what you are talking about is not important.

Let me also remind you of the Genre you are making a video in - "Nostalgic Video Games". One of your biggest audiences are people who used to play this game and want to revisit it as a childhood memory. That being said, you fail to deliver. This is a 16 minute video of monotony.

  • @conneryg I see what you mean and thank you. I'll take that to thought because old-school video games DO need to get recognized. Not to mention, feedback like this has more of an impact than you might think. I'll have to admit there are some good days and not so good days with recording, this might not be a great day. You should have heard me when I first started LPing though. It was MUCH worse than this, but less monotony, alright... I can see what I do for future recording, thanks!

  • Holy crap. I want to watch this LP but can't.

  • @Nintendawg65 Why's that? Haven't beaten the game?

  • @WaddlerD I have, but it's been ages.

  • I've never played a Turok game, probably because I'm not big on FPS games. But this game looks pretty interesting. I'm liking the platforming elements~

  • - Hold the Yellow C button to move up and control with the control stick, that really helps - Kill people with knives to drop +2 health and the occasional "Mortal Wound" item which will permanently increase your health by 5. - Shoot the deer for more health drops - 6:25 - Scale that wall for an Automatic shotgun

  • never played the first game. turok for the xbox 360 and ps3 was a good game. i don't think anyone really gave it a chance. Turok: Evolution for the ps2 was terrible especially the final boss
