2 ways to do that.
1> in the settings screen tap on custom image and you can select any image.
2> while browsing through the images in this app(in full screen mode), click on menu and then tap on set as application background.
To remove any lag , wait for a second or two after opening the app. then the application works smoothly and images will load very fast.
