I'm Dominican, been going to D.R since I was 2 yrs old...and I never clapped when the plane landed. evryone else clapped so i was good lol and clapping when the plane lands is not a tradition...whoever says that is just stupid. If you want to clap then clap but you don't have to if you don't want to...you mostly clap because the plane got there safely.

Its not a tradition.. Last time i went their no one in the plain clapped, and i never clap ether so its not a tradition its just being thankful
