I made a big beige rattle or maraca out of clay for a ceramics class in about 4th grade, maybe 3rd grade, and carved MANITOU on the side of it. Cuz it scared the hell out of me. I'll have to track down a copy of it.

Tony Curtis was the boyfriend of the lady who had the Manitou growing on her neck! In the end they called on the machine Manitou's (the hospitals computers and x-ray machines etc) to defeat the nasty Manitou, Mr Marcus his name I think. Enjoyable and tongue in cheek as I remember.

I was attacked over the weekend by an entity called the Manitou, the immortal spirit of a medicine man that can be reborn at any time or in any place after its original host is gone. Gratex teamed up with Mathfails, Gorilla199 and a native Red Indian, John Singing Rock. They expelled the Manitou using herbs, William Shatners hairpiece and YokeUps brain in a black magic showdown. It was awesome thanks guys! Yep some weirdo's out there, lol!
